This item has a motion sensor:

Put the closed LEUCHTIE over your dog's head.

The motion sensor switches on automatically when the battery compartment points downwards and the LEUCHTIE is in motion. If the battery compartment faces upwards, it slowly switches off after approx. 1 minute. Therefore, suspend the LEUCHTIE e.g. on a hook for storage.

Choosing the right LEUCHTIE size for your dog

How to measure the size of the LED light collar LEUCHTIE

LEUCHTIE is pulled over the dog’s head as closed ring. Consequently, for choosing the right size you have to measure the dog's head circumference, not the neck (exception see point 3).

Please measure the circumference of your dog's head at the thickest point - directly in front of the ears - tightly with a tape measure.
Select the closest size. If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller size preferably.
Is your dog's neck circumference larger than the head circumference?
Measure the neck circumference at the point where you want the LEUCHTIE to fit.
In this case we recomment to better base your choice of size on this measurement.

If you have any questions about sizing, please contact us.

Weight specifications as well as breed examples are merely empirical values, not binding information. The LEUCHTIE size can vary depending on the physique, gender and texture of the fur; bitches for example tend to wear one size smaller than males and dogs with long fur at the neck often wear a number bigger than shorthaired dogs.

I love the collar

I found this company through reddit and I'm so glad. I've bought cheap LED collars and lights before but they stopped working or weren't good quality. The Leuchtie mini is sturdy, looks well made, well designed, and I adore the two-color lights. The 27,5cm fits my 4kg Maltese just right and I like that it can be attached to the harness. The motion sensor is very high tech too.

I love the Leuchtie Mini it’s a wonderful high quality collar that will keep your dog safely seen for many years to come. I was a bit worried it might be a little heavy but my 5.9kg Chihuahua X is very happy to wear it and as we live in a very wet and windy climate by the sea, its perfect for all our adventures together as its both robust and fully waterproof.
I chose the soft red and lavender and it’s such a pretty colour combo - easily seen but not harsh on the eyes and seamless to use by just rotating the collar. Very happy with my purchase.
