Information on sensor technology

Select one of the following on/off options for your LEUCHTIE:

 

LEUCHITE function of the motion sensor a) Motion sensor
The motion sensor switches on automatically when the battery compartment is facing downwards and the LEUCHTIE is in motion. If the battery compartment faces upwards, it slowly switches off after approx. 1 minute. Therefore, suspend the LEUCHTIE e.g. on a hook for storage.

LEUCHITE function of the magnetic sensor b) Magnetic sensor
The magnetic sensor is switched on and off using the supplied magnet. The magnetic sensor is located in the light tube, opposite the tip of the battery compartment. To switch your LEUCHTIE on and off, pass the magnet closely over this point.

c) Motion and Magnetic sensor
Combination of both on and off functions.

 

Hint:
- If the LEUCHTIE is switched off via the magnetic sensor, the motion sensor will not work.
- As an alternative to the supplied magnet, you can also use another sufficiently strong magnet, e.g. the LEUCHTIE charging station.
- If you use a LEUCHTIE with a magnetic sensor alongside another magnet (such as a collar with a magnetic clasp, magnetic charging contacts or the magnetic attachment of a GPS tracker), the LEUCHTIE may be switched on or off unintentionally. Therefore, please ensure a sufficiently large distance (approx. 10 cm) between the magnetic sensor and other magnets. Alternatively, we recommend a LEUCHTIE with a motion sensor only.
