Safety first – even with batteries

Many products today rely on lithium batteries. But we do not believe that these are suitable for a dog light-up collar.

Why?

Lithium batteries are very sensitive to damage (e.g., impacts, bites, or contact with water). If a battery is damaged, it can become very hot and even catch fire.
But wild play, romping around, and swimming are simply part of everyday life for dogs – and that's exactly why we don't take any risks here.

Our decision: More safety for your dog

That's why we only use nickel metal hydride (NiMH) batteries in our LEUCHTIEs.
These are significantly more robust and offer considerably more safety – even when things get wild or wet.
