The luminosity of the different colors varies.
- The following colors tend to be perceived as very bright: Green, lime, white, blush, lavender, vanilla, ice blue, turquoise.
- Blue, orange, red and pink have a slightly weaker luminosity.
The colors displayed on your screen may vary depending on the setting and screen and may differ from the original colors.
We ask for your understanding that your individually assembled LEUCHTIE is a custom-made product that cannot be exchanged or returned.

Select one of the following on/off options for your LEUCHTIE:

a) Motion sensor
The motion sensor switches on automatically when the battery compartment is facing downwards and the LEUCHTIE is in motion. If the battery compartment faces upwards, it slowly switches off after approx. 1 minute. Therefore, suspend the LEUCHTIE e.g. on a hook for storage.

b) Magnetic sensor
The magnetic sensor is switched on and off using the supplied magnet. The magnetic sensor is located in the light tube, opposite the tip of the battery compartment. To switch your LEUCHTIE on and off, pass the magnet closely over this point.

c) Motion and Magnetic sensor
Combination of both on and off functions.

Hint:
- If the LEUCHTIE is switched off via the magnetic sensor, the motion sensor will not work.
- As an alternative to the supplied magnet, you can also use another sufficiently strong magnet, e.g. the LEUCHTIE charging station.
- If you use a LEUCHTIE with a magnetic sensor alongside another magnet (such as a collar with a magnetic clasp, magnetic charging contacts or the magnetic attachment of a GPS tracker), the LEUCHTIE may be switched on or off unintentionally. Therefore, please ensure a sufficiently large distance (approx. 10 cm) between the magnetic sensor and other magnets. Alternatively, we recommend a LEUCHTIE with a motion sensor only.

Choosing the right LEUCHTIE size for your dog

How to measure the size of the LED light collar LEUCHTIE

LEUCHTIE is pulled over the dog’s head as closed ring. Consequently, for choosing the right size you have to measure the dog's head circumference, not the neck (exception see point 3).

Please measure the circumference of your dog's head at the thickest point - directly in front of the ears - tightly with a tape measure.
Select the closest size. If you are between two sizes, choose the smaller size preferably.
Is your dog's neck circumference larger than the head circumference?
Measure the neck circumference at the point where you want the LEUCHTIE to fit.
In this case we recomment to better base your choice of size on this measurement.

If you have any questions about sizing, please contact us.

model	Most popular sizes	Weight of the dog [kg]	Breed examples
Weight specifications as well as breed examples are merely empirical values, not binding information. The LEUCHTIE size can vary depending on the physique, gender and texture of the fur; bitches for example tend to wear one size smaller than males and dogs with long fur at the neck often wear a number bigger than shorthaired dogs.

LEUCHTIE Easy Charge Configurator with 7 LEDs

Highlights

Extreme brightness without fading
No daily charging required: The extreme luminosity remains constant with only one charge per week. This means your dog is clearly visible from all sides for many hundreds of meters.
Extra-long runtime
At least 25 hours of light per charge.
100 % waterproof
Swimming is also possible without any problems.
Easy rechargeable with USB charging station
Charge without a sensitive USB port on the LEUCHTIE.
Operation with standard NiMH rechargeable batteries
- Maximum safety for your dog:
No risk of fire or explosion if damaged, in contact with water, or during charging. We deliberately avoid using vulnerable lithium batteries, which are used in many light-up collars.^Info
- Extremely economical:
Less than 10 cents in electricity costs per year.
(based on year-round use, charged once a week via a USB power adapter.)
- Powerful and durable:
Thanks to gentle charging, the batteries last for many years. For the sake of the environment, we do not use fast charging.
- Replaceable:
You can replace the two AAA NiMH batteries yourself – you don't need a new LEUCHTIE.
Durable and reliable
- No sensitive on/off switch.
- Closed ring design for easy on/off – no wear and tear, no dirt ingress.
Highest quality
Extremely robust and absolutely reliable with hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers worldwide since 2003.
Protection against loss

Intense colors
For optimal visibility over long distances and easy differentiation between several dogs in the dark.

In our manufactory in Weiden (Bavaria).
Social responsibility
Some of the preparatory work is carried out in special education centers. In this way, we support work and support programs for people with disabilities.
We avoid the exploitation of people and the environment that is common in low-wage countries as far as possible. Instead, we focus on responsible production: we manufacture our LEUCHTIEs in Germany and attach great importance to quality and sustainability when selecting our materials and suppliers.
Spare parts & repair service
LEUCHTIE is not a disposable item:
Reliable support, low-cost spare parts and repair service, even outside the warranty period.
