3 on/off versions to choose from:
1) Motion sensor: The motion sensor switches on automatically when the battery compartment points downwards and the LEUCHTIE is in motion. If the battery compartment faces upwards, it slowly switches off after approx. 1 minute. Therefore, suspend the LEUCHTIE e.g. on a hook for storage.
2) Magnetic sensor: The magnetic sensor is switched on and off using the supplied magnet. The magnetic sensor is located in the light tube, opposite the battery compartment tip. To switch your LEUCHTIE on and off, pass the magnet close over this point.
Tip: As an alternative to the supplied magnet, you can use another sufficiently strong magnet, e.g. the charging station of the LEUCHTIE or your cell phone.
3) Motion and magnetic sensor: Combined on and off function.
Note: If the LEUCHTIE is switched off via the magnetic sensor, the motion sensor will not work.

Choosing the right LEUCHTIE size for your dog
LEUCHTIE will be placed over the dog's head as closed ring and turns on and off automatically.
Consequently, for choosing the right size you have to measure the dog's head circumference, not the neck (for exceptions see point 3).
- Please put a tape measure tightly around the widest part of the dog’s head, just in front of the ears.
If you don't have a tape measure, please use a piece of string which you can use around the head and then measure with a ruler. Please measure tightly.
- Select the LEUCHTIE size closest to this measurement from the list provided.
If you meausure between two sizes, please choose the smaller size preferably.
- Does your dog have a larger neck than head circumference, e. g. due to dense, long-haired fur on the neck (Australian Shepherd, Collie, Newfoundland etc.)?
Then please measure the neck circumference as an additional size at the place and in the width on / in which the LEUCHTIE should be and orient yourself more towards this when choosing the size.
